Fallout 3 - Fawkes - May be some Spoilers

I just recent read up on Fawkes. And noticed that he can team up with you like Dogmeat.

During the quest, I accidentally shot him with an RPG (no laughing), and I killed him. So not being about to go in there myself, and forgetting to save the game, I slapped on the "tgm" cheat, got the thing, and left.

I am now at the end of the game (having already completed the main story, I am doing the side quest's now), and I was wondering if there is any way that I can still recruit Fawkes if he is even still alive somewhere?


And what is the max number of followers you can have? Currently I have Dogmeat, and the Goul. Would be sweet if I could get all 8.

 

I believe the max followers is 1 with the exception of Dogmeat. I remember reading on the Bethesda forums about someone having 8 followers, but I think that was through a mod. yes, only 1 follower. Dogmeat is an exception.

This is correct.


However there is a bug that allows you to get 2 human followers, if dogmeat dies then you can recruit another person to fill his place. At least, that's what I've heard.

 

I have to look up that mod sometime.

 

Nah I tried doing that just for sh*ts but no deal. Dogmeat does get kind of annoying though its like reverse Lassie...what's that boy? You want to run in and spoil my trying to sneak up and crit someone?!?!?! You @#$D dog.
