Ok, I reinstalled Fallout 3 today after a while of not playing it. Last time I played it, I had Windows Vista (I currently have Windows 7 Ultimate).

Anyways, I load the game up, everything goes smooth, but when I create a new game, there is no sound.

I get sound when the game loads and at the main menu, but once the game loads, there is no sound at all.

    Things I have done:

GPU Drivers are up to date (Nvidia 8700M GT)
Sound card drivers are up to date
I tried running as Admin, and compatibility mode
    I re-installed it twice

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I have the Box with the DVD.

I tried with the latest patch, and without it.

After re-installing it again, I got the sound working, the only thing is that there is no intro sound when starting a new game, but when the game starts up, it seems to be working fine.
