    Just installed Fallout 3.

Everything loads up fine, and when I select "New Game", it switches to the loading screen for a few seconds, then goes to a black screen with nothing on it.

When I look in the Task Manager, it is using 0 CPU, so apparently nothing seems to be happening.

    Anyone know what's wrong?

I am using the only driver that doesn't crash when I play games, the 174.16 driver.

    All my other games work.

Tried to re-install it. Accepted everything COMODO asked for, so the install went smooth. Downloaded the patch and ran it, still nothing. It also goes to a black screen when I Quit from the Main Menu.

    Ok, got it to work.

If anyone else is having this problem, see this site.

If you have tried this, try de-selecting it from the list, and then running Fallout.

I had to install FFDshow and exclude it from the list to get the game to work.
