    Hey Everyone,

So i just got my sager 8660, and i've been enjoying fallout three a ton. I have a question though about the stats. I'm currently a level 12 and I just arrived at the brotherhood of steel compound. I have heavily invested in small arms but i haven't really touched the plasma weapons or bigger arms stats. My question is, should i start pouring points into either of these? I have heard that ammunition for the bigger guns and the plasma weapons is hard to come by... so its kind of a waste. Any input would be appreciated.

Like you've said... and their damage s*x without any mod. I'll suggest you to look for mod @ Fallout 3 Nexus.

no, small arms offer the best bang for the buck. energy weapons are generally useless and its recommended that you pour your points elsewhere.

honestly, once you hit the brotherhood compound, if you follow the story from that point, the game can end in a hurry! if you make the upgrades, do yourself a favor and go out and explore more!

get the alien blaster from the crash site.
go northwest from the minefield. follow the power lines then you will find a crashed alien ship. get the blaster with 110 ammo and your set.
it should do a critical every time and kill all enemies in one hit

Im pure hand2hand this game and loving it ^^

I "messed up" my stats first game and made it to the end no problem. It wont make/break you it just means you cant be as specialized if you did something wrong.

In the end what I found is important - Do not use any + skill perks because by max level you can have EVERY skill maxed via books & stat points so only use perks for actual perks.

Max out Inteligance as fast as possible, I started my 2nd game with 9 and got the Int bobble head 2 lvl 2 for the max of 10 Int.

Every point of Int is a skill point @ lvl up so in 20 levels somebody with 10 int would have 100 skill points more than somebody with only 5 int.

checkout this site: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3 for all the info you need. Also somewhere on that site or on the net I got a skill calculator that is handy if you really want to plan every aspect of your character.

Go to Rivet City and complete the Replicated Man quest. Harkness will provide you with the A3-21 Plasma Rifle which does 55 points damage at 100 Energy Weapons skill. Even the Plasma Pistol is nice. They use Microfusion Cells which are plenty.
