I'm planning on purchasing Fallout 3 for my laptop. Can you guys let me know if it will run smooth and what settings it will run at with my specs? And also if possible, if anyone has about the same specs (mainly video card), could you post your benchmarks? Here are my specs:

    ASUS G1S-A1

    INTEL CORE 2 DUO (T7700) AT 2.4GHZ
    G-SKILL 4GB PC-5300
    200GB 7200RPM
    NVIDIA 8600GT 256MB (+1278MB SYSTEM SHARED)

    Thanks!

So instead you use military computers to waste my time.Thanks.

There's a thread for these questions STICKIED TO THE TOP OF THE GAMING FORUM.

So to answer you in the most lazy way possible, it'll run alright at decent settings.

No. Our computers out here that are plugged into the internet are military. However, I have a personal laptop out here but I can't plug into the internet to see if what the website says about my computer.

I'm sorry if I've wasted YOU'REtime by making you read a post . I've only been out here for 10 months with 4 more to go. Been here on patrols and convoys worrying about ambushes and IED's. I'm sorry if I'm asking for a little advice to see if my laptop will run Fallout 3 so that I can play it with the LITTLE free time I have.

Really Bungalo Bill, I'm sorry for posting this thread in the wrong place. I can only imagine the horrible day you're having.

Actually. What he is probable doing is taking a moment away from being shot at, blown up and risking being killed at every turn to have a little rest and relaxation time on a desk top computer provided to him for this exact purpose. And that he cant plug his laptop into a DoD network to serf any "restricked" sites.

And how is he wasting your time? Aren’t you wasting your own time by reading it? Or by “waist time” did you mean to say “waist tax payers dollars?” Because the whole war is a waist of tax payers dollars. But that’s not his fault. He is just trying to take a brake form a place he probable doesn’t really appreciate being in.

Now me? I’m the mother f|_|cker wasting your tax payers dollars. I sit at work all night on my 60k (before overtime) a year salary paid for by you and serf the internet.

Thank you very much. You can b!tch my way, sir. Not his. He cant help it. But I can. Now, I’m going to pick up a magazine, walk to the bathroom and spend about 45 minutes taken a big fat sh!t on your dime sir.

Congratulations. You pissed me off. That doesn’t happen often.

Like everyone said, you should be able to run it fine on that computer. Hope you have fun with it, bought it the other day, absolutely LOVED it.
