I could use some help  . No matter what settings I use, the game runs like crap. Inside buildings, it's pretty smooth but wandering the waste land the video gets choppy. I would've thought this machine would be more than capable of running this game. I have the 10.11 drivers installed and an Intel SSD as my boot drive. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have it set to update automatically by Steam so I know it has the latest patch.

what in-game graphics settings you are using? i have a 5830, and it runs silky smooth.

    here are my settings:
    Resolution - 1280x720
    Antialiasing - 2 Samples
    Anisotropic Filtering - 2 Samples
    Detail - High

you should do fine with at least these

do you have problems in any other games?

Did You set Your power profile to 'High Performance' in Windows? Also check Your Powerplay settings.

After doing some more digging, I think it may be driver related. I'm going to try some different drivers tonight (10.10e and 10.12) and report back.

You should be able to max it out easily with 60fps.

Probably because you're missing that d3d9.dll file...on my old computer (has GT130M, which is like 1/10 the power of your GPU), the game ran like slideshow until I put that file into main folder, and then it ran 60+ fps on high settings.

Installing 10.10e seems to have done the trick. It's not perfect but much better than 10.11 drivers. Thanks everyone for your input.
