direct2drive still messes up with my PayPal payments.

I had this issue a year ago and dealt with support but they didn't find a solution and the problem's still here.

It just says server error after I agree and continue from PayPal.

 

I already have it on the 360 but..well, eh. I bought it for PC since I'm pretty sure the PC version won't stutter every so and so (and require multiple cache refreshes/emptying/whatever) like the 360 version does.

It's definitely valid...I have New Vegas now.

O...and its one of those games that actually lets you activate via Steam (unlike Fallout 3 GOTY retail :/).

 

Actually, it requires you to activate it on Steam due to its use of Steamworks.

 

Yeah I realized my mistake a bit late (I'm not at home to do the activation atm). Still a bit of improvement from Fallout 3 where Steam only works if you buy it on Steam. Retail, SOL.

 

I think I might bite on this. I feel I'll get my $30 worth if it's anything like the original, even though I never finished the original.

 

Definitely worth the $29!

This is an excellent game with hundreds of hours of great content, compelling story and many unique and interesting characters. Not to mention the fact that there are already almost 3,000 mods created for the game since its release a few weeks ago.

There are many games that retail for $40 - 50 with only a fraction of the value of FNV. This is definitely not one of those games that are designed to be completed over the course of a weekend.

I found a few small glitches, like creatures getting stuck in the terrain, etc., and only one case where specific circumstances can cause a game crash (a mantis causes a crash in the reactor area of Vault 11 if you are using melee weapons and have the super slam perk. if you switch to ranged weapons the crash is averted).
