Searched all over but couldn't find an answer. I got Asus with NV 8600GT M. Now if I watch DivX movies on my 52'' Sharp via XboX everything is fine, same with watching that same movie on my laptop's LCD. But once I get laptop's output on that TV via DVI connector I get a lot of false contouring. why is that ? why can't my graphic card render gradients smoothly while connected to tv ?

What about checking some settings in the Nvidia control panel?
