I'm sorry if this was covered in one of the stickys but I wanted to know if someone could help me with this.

First, can anyone tell me if the GPU fan on my particular model laptop (HP dv7-2043cl, ATI Mobility Radeon 4650) blows air out or sucks air in?

Second, does the fan direction of the GPU even matter? Could I keep my NZXT Cryo LX fans blowing up on the laptop if the GPU fan is blowing out the bottom?

    Thanks for the help!

The direction of the fan on the GPU shouldn't matter. All the NZXT Cryo does is give the computer cool air. The computer is designed to suck in air from the bottom, seeing as the vents for the GPU (and everything else for that matter) are there. Cool air is better. Whichever way the fan on the GPU turns, it does its job, regardless of how the air is getting into the laptop.

    I hope that makes sense...

So the fans pull air in so im fine.

Yeah I get it, but I was thinkin that if the cooler is pushing air into the fan and the fan wasn't letting air in because it blows air out it is useless.

I was thinkin if it helped, I can set up the fans to be (from left to right) down, up, up then the one fan would help pull air out and the other 2 would cool everythins else, but I won't need to do that. (CPU, Hard Drive, etc.)

Does anyone know if this model's fan is definitely sucking air in and if not would doing something like this work?
