I really like this game. I played half life 2 and none of the others. I really like playing it with my 360 controller. Could never really get comfortable with the PC keys, always get confused when things get crazy. Ahh, really like the console. It reminds me of the easy days no trainers needed. Why did that feature go away in the newer games???

These guys did an awesome job.

I use an usb 360 controller as well, but how do you get it to work with BlackMesa? , their is only keyboard and mouse setting, is their a key binding app.

Using a noob controller when you have the best interface device (i.e. keyboard+mouse) in the world = BLASPHEMY :D

Jokes, some games play much better especially sports games with a controller. FPS and RTS? Not so much!

That worked great, only half-life 2 profile but it seems to work, must be trialware +REP

I haven't used it much since I converted to the holy mouse and keyboard, pinnacle forum members create profiles that seem to work OK, and if u could be bothered tinkering you can set up your own. You may find freeware that may do the same job but when I searched back then it seemed the best way to go...

I went on the black mesa forum and searched. One of the members made a cfg file for the 360 controller. I followed his instruction on where to put it and its working great.

I didn't think of using a controller for this game, I will give it a try later on. I found the link.

Useful bit of info from the forum...

Without doing that you would need to execute the config from the console each time you played by hitting ~ and typing in 'exec Cookie360' to enable and 'exec undoCookie360' to disable.

I tried a controller but aiming the guns is so much slower, so i switched back to mouse.
