    Far Cry 2 and 360 controller problem

    My xbox 360 controller doesn't seem to be working with FC2. It works in game menu and I m able to scroll down or up and all the keys work as well. However when I get to the controller assignment screen and I try to map the keys to those on my 360 controller, it just doesn't recognize any input. I updated the 360 drivers to the newest ones as well as patched FC2 to the newest patch.
    what might be the problem?
