    Amazon UK had the date for Far Cry 2 at May 29 , then I go to purchase it and see its been put back to november , and some other places say december 08 , annyone know whats going on ???

    it was never on may 29th, its just the preorder date, the game is coming at the end of 2008..

    Most big titles come out in fall, after people start school again.
    It makes sense.
    Far Cry 2, Starcraft 2, etc...

    With the completely non-linear open-ended sandbox gameplay...I wouldnt be suprised if FC2 delayed again ;)

    It has little to nothing to do with school, it has to do with generating demand for the holiday season. That's why titles come out between late Sept and mid Nov. They have to come out early enough that they can get in to holiday buying guides, which means they have to come out 1.5-2 months before Black Friday (the Friday following Thanksgiving, which is late in November, for all the non-US folks, which is the traditional start of the shopping season, and a big day for sales).

    oh well , Im the idiot who didnt see it was pre order .
    Hope NASA gets there computers upgraded to play it , I dont think their particulary busy these days watching small robots play in the martian dirt.

    Single ? that`s not too bad, the game looked and played nicely.

    I`d expect a 8800M GTX to run it on high easily, and 8600M GT medium settings...

    yup a 8800GTS 640mb is optimal for the game and 8600GTS as recommended, thats the reason i'm excited ! sick of stalker already. need a more accurate guns game :D

    i didnt even get past the first area of it :S the eyecandy was good but not depth and the shooting is horrible, also the "GAME OVER" phrase when you die
