Hi, i am trying to just play farcry because i never played it before and for some reason im having some problems. i have a 8700m gt with 2 ghz and 2 gigs ram on vista home premium. whenever i try to play the game - i will get this "no-texture" effect where when i walk out into the open, everything is good except the ground. the ground is a solid light blue color (like the sky) .. i was wondering if there was a fix for this? i tried messing with the settings but i can't seem to get rid of this. everything except the ground has texture, the ground is just a single color blue.

    thanks for any information

See if theres any new patches out for the game.
Also check that you have the newest graphics drivers.
