    Well seeing as it's done by Uwe Boll, the 'Genius' behind Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne, Bloodrayne II and the-worst-zombie-movie-ever-made House of the Dead, I think it's safe to say the Far Cry name will be in tatters afterwards.

    At best, we could hope for it to be just mediocre, instead of downright horrible.

    Agreed. He's like the Ed Wood of video game films.

    I loved Far Cry, it's #1 or #2 on my all time favorite game list. But Uwe Boll? Does he have like an exclusive license to trash the name of every video game made? Moviegoers who know nothing of the game will forever associate FarCry with crap.

    Far cry a movie?will be on the same crap level of Vin Diesel's Doom ...i prefer an Assasin Creed based movie...would be a blockbuster and can be an interesting plot and character even for those that doesn't play games

    Actually, he did Postal as well, and apparently that's quite good - maybe he's stopped making crap movies based on tax breaks and started to make decent films.
