When i play FarCry demo on my laptop (check signature for specs) FPS is great even at 1024 X 768 X 32 but all i can see is trees or blue colour as environment ....i cant see enemy, i cant see anything except light blue environment...its like the player is blind and can see only trees....

I can hear enemy shooting at me but i can see only blue blue enviroment all around....the only object i can see is the trees or faint image of my boat

FarCry i remember runs on my graphic card...and i cant even see the beautiful water unless i dive into it..
    Can someone help?
Is the game enviroment so hazy at the beginning?

Edited: Okay, i managed to solve the blue world issue.....but now only problem is water....Farcry has beautiful water ....in my laptop the water is just like a blue surface...2D .....can i do smtg abt it from nvidia control panel?

I think you should make sure you have the latest drivers for your GPU, also the latest direct-x. The game should play OK on your hardware but will swap a lot with 1gb RAM. That is the game that made up my mind to upgrade to 2gb.

i heard so many people had this problem (including me) and the only fix i found was to just change the settings around (even tho u might have to decrease something) and it will work and it will look good :)

I know with the full retail on newer cards it had to be patched to work correctly. Maybe same issue with the Demo, except, obviously you cannot patch that...get the full free version of far Cry, it's free now anyway.

Where did you read that from? If that's true where on earth can you get the game without paying for it?

Now I remember, it was advertised some time back. The ad-support is a real pain though.
