The purpose of this thread (I hope) is to have people share their favorite mods. Preferably free, legal mods that extend the life of great games. I know I have downloaded quite a few mods for Oblivion but on the whole I have not played many great/stable mods although I know there are some great ones out there.

Maybe make a list like this. I have used garrys mod as an example because its fun and most people are familiar with it, even though it does cost money.

Game - Half Life 2 or any game that uses the "Source" engine

    Mod - "Garry's Mod"

    Where to d/l - Steam or garrysmod.com, cost $5-10

Description - A completely open ended sandbox game where you can play around with any items/enemies in HL2 universe while utilizing the physics built in the source engine. Stable, polished, and fun but does cost money.

When I play WoW, I'm quite partial to XPerl and Bartender4. I used to use Bongos for managing my bars, but it clashed with another mod that I had. The FuBar mini-mods are my favorite, but sadly they have ceased being supported. =(
