How is performance of the Turion 64 X2 ML-60 2.00 Ghz with X1150 256 MB w/ 512 MB HyperMemory? And when it's compared to a Duo 2 Core 1.83 Ghz with Go Force 7600 256 MB?

The Go7600 will completely and utterly destroy the x1150.

    Look at the GPU guide.

The Go 7600 is much more powerful than the X1150.

Hey there, I got your PM on the subject, you should find a reply. The 7600 is for gaming while the x1150 will get away with older games thats just not what its designed for.

The 2ghz x2 and core 2 1.86ghz will be very similar.

The x1150 can have 512mb hypermemory?

Depends what you want it for of course but I can't imagine many if any scenarios where the Core/Geforce wouldn't perform better.

It can, but there's no real point (other than advertising it as a 512MB card) to giving an integrated GPU that much memory. The X1150 is about 1/3 faster than an X200M, which isn't saying much, and giving it more memory does not help.

I think battery life and price are the only places it'll beat the 7600.

The 7600 complete owns the X1150 as said before...

But if you dont plan on doing any major modern gaming it should be fine.

I mean you can run some newer games at low settings and older games even better.

I would take it over a GMA 900 or GMA 950, thats for sure.

    Bwahaahahahah

You think GMA is bad? Intel's "Xtreme Graphics 2" GPU that is in my Tablet makes me want to stab my eyes. I don't know how the hell Far Cry can even run on that thing, but kudos to the geniuses at Crytek for creating such an efficient rendering engine.

It runs on 640x480 at about 20fps on the GMA, so I can't imagine it even booting up on the Intel Extreme range...

Why? Because they don't play the latest games? Intel GMA is designed for basic desktop use primarily, with the added bonus of older games functionality. You can't, as most people frustratingly do, badmouth Intel on a product that doesn't do what it was never intended to do. Honestly, if you end up with a GMA for gaming, it's nobodies fault but you're own.
