Hey guys, I recently read about this game online seems pretty cool. It's sponsored/developed(?) by Ferrari S.p.A. featuring the F430 Scuderia, F599 GTB, and the 612 Scaglietti. I've tried it and the graphics are pretty nice, the F430 was rendered better than the other 2, but the handeling is kind of arcade-ish. The game is free, but you'll need to register an account on ferrari.com.

Have fun trying it out :D
I'll post some screens later :p

Yes, but it's not really worth the hassle.

The 1st time I played it, I didn't feel like hooking up my G25, so tested it with the keyboard.

Even on the keyboard, I could easily slide and drift the car around turns and came in 1st place, on my very first race.

    Not exactly a sim.....

It allows damage as an option, but nothing ever seems to actually get damaged--even when crashing into other cars, barriers, etc. Just a little "Damage %" meter iin the upper left.

All that said, it is VERY nice looking and has a cool blur effect that conveys a decent sense of speed. Much better in those regards than BMW M3 Challenge (the other free racing game.)

A very easy to play, good looking game highlighting 3 models of Ferraris on a single track---but what the heck, it's free.

I downloaded it. Its alright, can't complain for something that's free. It's only a 75MB dowload.

The game is pretty boring, the handling is nothing exciting, and the graphics are fairly good, nothing special but about equivalent to games of a few years ago. The motion blur effect is extremely crappy and badly done. The sound is very annoying.

That's about all there is to say, download it if you like but don't expect too much.

Don't worry, you're not missing out on too much :)

LMFAO, they dont embarrass you THAT much do that? ;)

The only plus I can see with signing up with Ferrari.com is that they'll be releasing the F430 Coupe, Spyder, and California at a later date, and you can also customize your supercar with Ferrari fatory parts (rims) and colours (exterior, brake pad, and trim).

I sure hope so i would be playing that everyday.

I wish when they were disgning this pc game they had put actual Ferrari sounds. and have the true handling characteristics of a real Ferrari. Maybe that will be improved on another release.

the F430 should sound like this:

it's a good game...good graphics...but...I think its a "little demo" of a Xbox 360 game, this game will be released soon, just for video games, not for PC. what a pity!
