    1. If you reformat your computer or uninstall the game, what files must be kept in order to make sure you still have your profiles?

    2. Is there a way to rename your profile? (without starting a new one)

    Thanks.

I don`t remember that well, it`s either a profile folder in the game main folder or a folder in My Documents, Ea games or my games, EA games , COD4 , profiles.
    Just look it up.
And I don`t think you can rename your profiles...but you can copy all of them somewhere, then rename everyone of the and see.

    1. Copy your "players" folder from your COD4 install directory somewhere else, then paste it back in once you've reinstalled. When you reinstall COD4, until you load the game for the first time, there won't be a "players" folder in the install directory, but you can paste your old one in right away anyways.

    2. I don't know.
