Fifa 2011 Review and a waste of 3 days

I have played FIFA from the days of the mid 90s and great bands like Crystal Method gracing the soundtracks. I waited the 4 hours for the EA digital download and had some hopes based on the reviews. To save readers... Here is my quick score followed by explanation.

Gameplay 5/10
Sounds 6/10

Graphics - It's supposed to be next gen but looks just like it did 2 years ago.
Not bad but not the 360 or ps3 graphics
Gameplay - Some of the worst of the series. I played with a xbox 360 controller and the latest drivers available by MS. Felt like sponge control with some of the worst AI play I have seen. On semi pro with an English 1 team I was lucky to ever score. Ever... I did manage to get 3 up on a team and the momentum was obvious but low and behold the magic AI came back to draw with less than 15 minutes left. Obsolute Horsecrap. Simulating matches are a waste because if you lose in the simulation no matter how many times you play most likely you will lose when you reload and actually play. An example of horrible ball characteristics is with maximum computer help enabled my striker with an overall of 65 missed an open net twice.. seriously.. twice.
Sounds - standard, nothing new
Control - some of the worst ever in a series
Overall Quality - just poor. The database on manage a team was messed up by season 2. Meaning when you update your staff it makes no changes that benefit the team. This has been an issue for EA for years and apparently they haven't bothered to get it right yet.

To sum up, waste of time, three days to be exact, waste of money, 24 bucks after tax and a waste of drive space.

Verdict - delete and try out PES when time permits. For those who haven't purchased... Dont bother. Save your money.

Thanks for the review, but I think 5/10 is a little generous myself. I'd give it a 0.01/10. The 0.01 just for the fact that they continue to have the balls to put out such garbage. EA has had plenty of time (years) to get their PC version on par with the consoles and they continue to screw us over. I haven't bought an EASports title in years.

so pes still the king? I thought pes was kind of disappointing as of lately, if u compare to the other versions of the game where it was the true king, but then again fifa always seemed a little weak.
