Chocobo owning? Haven't heard anything about that, do you have a link to some information? I think I'm gonna try my luck as a whm when I start again :3... I would play rng, but i'll wait till i feel financially secure to just power through without worrying about things.... I wonder if that'll ever happen
So, I haven't really done any research but are there going to be new servers soon or server transfers?

 

Sorry no link, can't find one, but at a FFXI event, it showed a timeline, and on it, later this year it said chocobos could be had as pets.

Just start crafting, if I could do it all over again I'd have done that when I first started, no doubt.

Probably, with the large influx of 360 players they need somewhere for them all to go so that the existing ones aren't too crowded.

I'm Thayse the predominately mageish male hume on Caitsith. Been playing since NA PC release, and made it all the way to the stunning level of 60 on black mage <_<;;

love the game, haven't played a ton recently... maybe getting back into it a bit.

 

Please do, so much has come recently that it's really worthwhile.

So, to keep conversation moving along here... what are your guys' current achievements and goals? Mines finding my POL-ID so I can resubscribe XD

 

My current goal is to get approved for my credit card and play the game. I've had the game sitting in my room for 14 months due to lack of credit card (I don't have bad credit, I just couldn't afford having one before).

 

For anyone interested, finally got the game updated, it took like 12 h to update on a 128 kbps connection with only the first expasion on it. Now gonna try to play and try to find a cd copy of CoP.

 

And I brought him onto Titan for anyone interested about that.

Pretty much it. When my Sony Vaio AR comes to my house, I plan to check it out on there. Hopefully it will be ****loads better than my 9800 Pro.

And now to revive my old thread, I've not been on NBR much due to, pure laziness. >.>

Well, I was kinda busy, what with trying to multitask playing two games at a time and watching a movie, it's harder than it sounds...

I'm showing Zicky the ropes of the game, i've done this before and it's pretty fun, but the way i do it is very thorough so I often go on typing sprees that take a while to do, so it is a bit of work. Plus organizing my thoughts and what's most important for a new player to know. Playing as long as I have and doing what I've done, though I'm not that high a level I've explored quite a bit and refined my sneaking skill that way, and I research things for hours because it interests me, things about the game. So I have quite a wealth of knowledge especially compared to a new player after two and a half years of that.

That makes it a bit annoying to teach because of conflicting views in my head of what to teach him next. <_>

Anyway, I think I'm doing all right with it, the last guy I trained turned out very well, he's outleveled me, but that's not that hard to do. =/

He turned out to be a very good player, and I'm pretty proud of that, actually.

Anyway, I'm done rambling. Keep this thread alive!
