Looks nice, but it's been a LONG time since I've had any hype for an FF game. I think the last one I played was 12 and I never finished it.

I bought 13 on Steam, never played more than a couple hours.

I'm sure I'll buy 15 just for the tech showcase.

It sure does look pretty  I haven't played a FF game since FF8, and only really enjoyed FF7. But, I might get this game and see if it can make my cards breathe heavy.

When Square announces that it doesn't support SLI, I'll be here for a hug.

No need for a hug I've stopped buying things first thing. I now wait and see-if no SLI, then no biggie for me it's just a FF game, and as I've said I only really enjoyed FF7

Man you missed out on ff9 big time. My favorite FF of all time... so far anyway. Gotta wait and see if XV can top it for me.

I am actually super stoked about this. My all time fave FF was VII (hence my name), and FFXV mostly looks and feels like what I've imagined a remake of FFVII would be like.
I do own a PS4 (the launch model), but have not touched it since the month after it launched. Still on FW1.54 I think. Have been waiting out for some mods and hacks, so I refused to use it.
That made me miss out on FFXV, sadly. And I have been thinking hard about buying a 2nd PS4 for FFXV, Horizon, Uncharted, and a few others.

Since I finally bought a high end gaming laptop (after holding off for over a decade) I am overly excited I will get to play FFXV in not only better graphics, but possibly a better experience all around. Mods will also be possible on the PC version, so its a win-win.

Just the timing of everything could not be better. I got my nice laptop, FF is getting a PC port, FFVII remake is ACTUALLY HAPPENING @,@ !!!! , and all of this graphical goodness can be taken on the go or played in your lap if you choose. Today... today is a good day. :)

I think recommended specs mentioned a 1080 Ti lel. Good thing I'm due for a new desktop build by the time next gen cards are out.

Yeah, 1080 Ti still isn't quite a "4k" GPU either. It's close, but still pushing its limits with modern games at highest details.

great little article thanks, it seems there was some confusion about the spec's, id be happy to play at 1080p, recently i added a 1080p external monitor and disabled my 4k laptop screen, and have noticed a huge increase in fps, im guessing the extra work needed to scale down the 4k screen to 1080p was more than i suspected.
