Why not? First of all, what card you got? Also nvidia system tools seems to have not been updated since last year, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesnt support your card.
Btw it's unstable and it's well known to cause serious troubles with voltages.
A word of advice: stay away from it.
Every respectful gpu ocer uses either msi afterburner or evga precision.

Well, i know for sure it supports my card coz, i found the button in windows Xp, but it wont turn up in 7. MSI or EVGA ? ... am not too sure ... dosent nvidia say use system tools? ... besides, though i could be easily mistake, am not sure, how much a third party ocer like msi or evga can be used on a nvidia card given mine is neither a evga or msi card. Its a sparkle card.

It doesn't matter what brand it is, still it's a reference/derivated card.
I advice using MSI ab, although evga is basically the same, but Msi have more features.
Nvidia system tools are a mess, so big that nvidia stopped to develop it themselves, while advicing either one of those two programs.
