I finally finished the main quest line in Oblivion. For those who have finished it, you can maybe agree that the last fight is awesome, but rather unfulfilling!!!

Well play shivering isles. Its great.

Ya the main quest is just another quest, the game still goes on.

I havent played since I beat the main quest either though. If I go back to it Ill finish the fighters quest and the whole assasins guild quest line.

I also recomend the user mod the legacy its pretty cool.

I'm gonna take a break on oblivion for awhile. The only quests I didn't do were the thieves guild and the assassin's guild. I have the 360 so I can't do any mods but I did dl the Isles so maybe in a few months I'll work on that one. Now its on to Lost Planet and Gears of War. Also can't stop playing geometry wars, that game is addictive.

Jeez, I need to get back into Oblivion. I have like 9 games that I'm working on all at once - I hate it when I do that. I need to learn to just buy one game and finish it before I buy another.

Aw man, the Thieves Guild and (especially) the Dark Brotherhood quests are some of the most fun I've ever had in a video game. :D There's one Dark Brotherhood mission (the best in the game, IMO) where you're invited to play a "game" in this guy's mansion. All the guests are locked in the house until one of us finds a hidden chest filled with gold, and the key to get out. Of course, it's all a ruse; there is no chest of gold to find. You've actually been hired to assasinate each of the guests, one by one, without any of them suspecting you. You have to figure out how to lure each them away from the others, and then while their asleep, silently sneak up and...

    It's jolly good fun. :D

Agreed. When I had my orig xbox I had about the same. I would buy games and get about 75% thru with them and pick up another one. I decided when I got my 360 that I would work on one long game and one short, fun game at a time.

    Best. Mission. Ever.

I absolutely loved that entire quest line, but that mission just takes the cake. For anyone who hasn't played the Dark Brotherhood quest line, it is significantly more fun than the main quest, in my opinion. Feels a lot less like work, and is much more pleasing. I'm picking up Shivering Isles in a few days, can't wait to mess with that.

Am I the only one that wishes this game had Co-op? How awesome would it be to go roaming through Hell with your best friend. *sigh*

Well the dark assasins was the only one i didnt even really start so maybe I should go back.

I was almost done with the fighters guild quests.

Well I would say each of the guilds quests was similar to the main quest in length and coolness. The thief guild one was exciting but so is the mage guild one. Matter of fact, I had to cheat to beat the mage guild one it was off the hook. Probably the best fight in the game.

    shivering isles is very great

as far as going through with a friend, i played a lot of it with a mod called dremora companion which gave you a strong henchman

I played Oblivion for 300 hours I think. I had done all the quests, real fun game but if you have done every quest it is not so fun anymore.

If I have a new notebook, I will start playing again.

Hey c'mon.. :) you can go outside, just watch the time when you do it. If you have to go outside during the day, make sure you have fed well so you won't get too much damage. Though, if you have turned vampire too early in the game, it certainly may be hard to survive.

Personally I haven't had much time to play this game. I will start a new game with Shivering Isles, Knights of the nine and most of the best mods installed when I manage to get some more free time.
