Im looking to buy one along with a copy of FSX this weekend!

But, im stumped and dont know what would be a good buy.

FSX Deluxe is already $69.99! So I dont want to spend more than that on a joystick!

    Whats a good joystick?

I dont want something cheap that will break or not be any good. ;)

I've got a Sidewinder stick that I've had for about 4 years that I bought specifically for the FS series and never had any trouble with. Unfortunately MS discontiued their Sidewinder line a few years back. They still pop up on Amazon and eBay once in a while though. I hear the Logitech joysticks are pretty good and fairly reasonable.

See, you said you don't want to spend much money on it, and then you said you don't want something cheap. Those two are really exclusive choices. I'd say get a NICE USB joystick, then you won't have to buy another one down the road for other games. The joystick/keyboard/mouse/gamepad/whatever are what you spend the most time with on your computer. Those are the last parts you really want to cheap out on.

That being said, look here: http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCategory.asp?SubCategory=123

A good budget joystick is the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, available for about $25 on Amazon. But I would recommend one of those force-feedback sticks from Saitek, to truly enjoy FSX!

Incidentally, FSX Deluxe is available at CircuitCity for $48.

Actually, FSX Deluxe is available for $47.99 at CC. I bought one yesterday. Go to the nearest store and see. Or check the CC Weekly Ad.
