    Hi guys!

Im considering which notebook I should buy for playing FSX. I should run at medium/high settings and perhaps at 1280x800.

I have been looking on this HP Pavilion notebook:

Intel Centrino Duo - Core 2 Duo T7300 processor
    15,4" WXGA skærm med BrightView
160 GB SATA harddisk (5400 RPM)
    2048 MB DDR2 RAM (2 x 1024 MB)
Nvidia GeForce Go 8400M with 895 MB TurboCache

So I'm asking you experts, do you think it would works out?

    Cheers :)

Yes, that notebook will run FSX just fine on medium settings, make sure you install FSX Service Pack 1 (A Patch for FSX) to fix bugs and get the best possible performance.

Which 8400m is in the notebook? Is it G, GS or GT?

Good question. The GS or GT will be fine, the G is rather crippled and might struggle, so check it isn't a 8400M G!

    It is the GS.

Which one of those is actually the best?

    The GT is the best.

    Okay nice, thank you!

    One more question.
Does a graphic card with 256 mb give a lot more than a graphic card with 128 dedicated when they both share with the ram?

Dedicated ram is a lot faster than shared ram, so 256MB dedicated will perform noticeably better than 128MB dedicated + 128MB shared.
