^ Yes please. BB we gotta play on steam together sometime. I've actually got free time today. I'm gonna uninstall the .26 drivers since they are more of a pain then they are worth. I'll give these a spin. TIme for class, see you guys later.

Thanks ;) I would do it myself but I only have DX9 at the moment. I'm really curious if with DX10 you can get the same performance as DX9 but with some exclusive DX10 features enabled.

Im having issues- like when BF2 is running in 1024x768, my monitor has black on both sides of it (monitor usually runs 1280x800) before this driver, it sized the image up to the whole monitor. what gives?

Go back the the nVidia Control Panel and don't use mainstain aspect ratio. BF doesn't run in widescreen.

And guys. This driver isn't optimized for Crysis... It's OPTIMIZED. Period.

Just tried this driver and 163.76 and both gave me same performance in Crysis. However this driver also gave me BSODs in CoH everytime I try to play it. :( Looks like 163.76 is the way to go (for me).

Go into your nvidia control panel and turn on aspect scaling. Some drivers have it on by default others dont.

Bf2 and Bf2142 both run in widescreen I have done so personally. You must do so manually tho, not thru the games options.

When I say widescreen I say the right resolution, it cuts off some of your vertical fov tho.

    on laptopvideo2go.com:
"Here is the nV driver for Crysis single player game demo.

This is a beta driver released to coincide with Crysis.
Numbering is a little odd now with 165, 167 and now 169, must show all sorts of things going on at nV.

Driver is only a few days old.

    Come in these versions:

    WinXP x86

    Vista x86

    Vista x64

nV's site only has links to English but I sneakily found the full international versions wink.gif"
I got an asus G1S with vista home premium 32 bit.
    .... there isn't a 32 bit version???!!

    Wow this driver is amazing!!
I got whopping jump 3dmark 06 score to 3355 from 320x on resolution 1280x1024 on windows XP pro sp2.
The game frame rate on the other hand doesn't see much difference but the ability to overclock is my winner !!!11
nVidia never cease to amaze me, 2 thumbs up baby.

Here's screen shot I took to support my claim.

I have been trying to unzip the files for the 169.01 drivers with no success. I have tried WinZip and 7-Zip and they both display the message "can not open file "C:/Users/Name/Desktop/16901_Vista64.exe" I have also searched this forum for similar problems and have found none. Can anyone help me please? Thank you :)
