Yep, not sure if its foreceware X, but its the 163.67 from nzone forceware drivers.
I installed the drivers along side a few patches, dont know which caused the 5-10 fps increase in my games but I am sure loving it.
Although my 3dmark06 didnt change, but who cares as long as ingame performance has got a nice boost -
hmm... does laptopvideo2go have them yet?
-
Didn't that site just mirror the last set of drivers anyway? I'm not sure if these work perfectly for notebook cards.
I installed them and Bioshock for me seems improved now. -
I try this driver.I download drivers from Nzone and modded my self.
Driver performance is impressive .I'm recommend it -
I just installed it and played Bioshock, Quake Wars demo no problem. And yes, laptopvideo2go has the modded inf done.
-
OMG. Very, very, very nice driver! All my games got a big FPS increase! Woohoo!
I got mine from LaptopVideo2Go. -
My 3dmark score went up from 3340 to 3376
-
That's cool ...I'll download that driver today and I'll test it tomorrow.
-
Guyssss,I went to laptopvideo2go web site and I didn't find that driver!!!! from where can I get it? I have a dell 1520 Laptop,is that driver for laptops?
-
scroll down the front page for links

Thanks my friend...(Y)
-
installed them last night, works perfectly with 8400m-GS
-
why do people use 3dmark, and be like OMFG i got an increase of 30 points?! 30 points, people!! anyway, will be testing these today..
-
yeah lol if it was 100+ then thats ok but 30 points is a variable dependant on other factors such as other running programs and system resources, etc...
-
well it didn't raise my 3d mark score but i've yet to run any games.
-
-
Thanks -
Got 52 3d marks boost and a kick ass +9 fps in bioshock.
-
30 here, 40 there adds up. Look at how far we've come in performance from 3100 8 weeks ago, and now people are busting 3400.
Especially when it comes to Vista, the drivers are far from optimized so yeah when someone gets a 30 point increase its a big deal because its just adding to the bigger piece of the pie. -
Anyone gotten the 163.67 drivers to OC yet?
How did you do it? -
seems to have slightly improved bioshock performance, but still a bit jittery at high settings for me
-
3dmark 06 score still remains the same but some ingame speed increase a bit. But geez I lose overclock-bility again... Hopefully nvidia will release driver to overclock again.
-
I'm keeping the old drivers around just in case. I had a Bioshock freeze (I completed the game under the old drivers with very few issues). Maybe that freeze was just a random one-time thing, but if it's the drivers, I'll be prepared to roll back to the old ones.
Remember these are still Beta, so possible problems could exist. I saw some stories on the Bioshock boards.
They're probably make another release in a few weeks for Crysis. -
this driver and the 94.20 xtreme-g mobileforce driver are the only drivers i tested beside the official notebookdriver the nvidia site gives. But both drivers give me a poor framerate in the game Spring (remake of total annihilation) so i will still use the official 84.63 drivers from the nvidia site
-
use rivatuner, seems to overclock with rivatuner for me...
-
I bluescreened a couple of times with it.
My brother was unable to play Bioshock with them (but regular nonbeta drivers worked just fine) -
SideSwipe what rivatuner version, OS you have?
Mine use rivatuner 2.03 and windows xp sp2 -
I tired riva tuner 2.03 in Vista 32 Ultimate and the 163.44 drivers and it wouldn't OC at all.
More than willing to try riva with the 163.67 if someone got it to work. -
Hmm what are the steps to properly install for notebook use - 8x00M GT?
Any pitfalls?
-
Can you elaborate the links and steps?
Thanks.

Updating Video Card Drivers in WinXP and Vista
^it's in the sticky.
Also, laptopvideo2go.com has an excellent guide. -
I'm getting really bad freezes in Bioshock with my Gx2 that require hard restart, but it works fine with my X1800XT....will try these new drivers tonight.
