Overclockable?

Wow! I played the demo for this game over a year ago. Apparently you can still download it too, but it says "WARNING: The demo no longer being representative to the final TimeShift game - it comes from an old build."
Should make for an interesting comparison to the final version, if you're interested.
OLD TimeShift Demo @ GamersHell
EDIT: Anyone have a link to the NEW TimeShift Demo? -
anyone having luck with a 7900gs?
-
I have noticed performance improvements
Havent tested many games due to lack of time but
World in Conflict Demo now gets 16-20 during heavy explosions and exploded building particles flying everywhere, 20-30 fps in action, 30-40 fps when not so much is happening on screen. This is great since before I stayed around the 13-25 mark.
Some screens for the interested (fps on top left corner)

I also used a few tweaks I found thanks to SymphonyX, Odin, Ochimaru (sorry if spelt the last two wrong).
They are
Use rivatuner to set vsync to always on and prerender limit to 1
Use rivatuner to enable clamp negative minmap LOD bios, anistropic mip filter optimization, anistropic sample optimization, trilinear optimization
Use D3D overrider (once you install rivatuner you also install this) to force triple buffering
Set Vsync to off in in-game settings -
hey, bb, did u modify the original inf that cam with it, or u just put the previous one by l2g? thanx for the good work, man
-
modified the original, look at my post before yours about the inf , it mentions these drivers performance
-
thank you blackbird for your comment on new driver performance. I probably gonna give it a try and see how it works for me later.. nVidia is working too hard these days lol
-
No probs

I reckon you should all give these a go and keep em unless they cause problems, interference or reduce your fps. For me all they did was improve

The Forerunner Notebook Virtuoso
Yeah this is mainly an orange box driver I believe. I'll report back with fps improvements.
-
just tried this new driver and here's my 2cents
FEAR and Guild War don't see any fps improvement over 163.71 and 3dmark 06 still remain the same. No compatibility issue for me so far, I'll keep this driver around seeing it does no harm to me
I believe this driver is to direct some new games compatibility problem or DX10 improvement? -
The Forerunner Notebook Virtuoso
Its an orange box driver mainly and some compatibility fixes. Hope it fixes some of the gltiches i was having with team fortress 2. Just installed. Thanks again for the modded inf blackbird.
-
can anyone tell me what a nvidia SLI profile is?
-
The Forerunner Notebook Virtuoso
These drivers are great. Gave me 5-10 fps boost in TF2. Also I don't know if it was this drivers or the newest patch by valve or both but all my glitch problems are gone from the game. Huzzah!

I just discovered the funniest trailer ever released.
-
guys, i'm a little confused, l2g has a .75 version for xp, but guru3d here http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1750 - that's .76 for xp?!
which one is the right one? nvidia also has the beta .75 on its site... -
ViciousXUSMC Master Viking NBR Reviewer
there is a .76 comming for xp, but for vista only .75
-
but nvidia has .75 for xp on their site...that doesn't make sense
-

guru3d has acces to beta drivers and can have them sooner than the offical page, its normal.
-
Seems like the modded .inf is released. Check them out at laptopvideo2go website.
-
Just thought I'd let people know if they were having issues (locking up, crashing, etc.) with Team Fortress 2 that these drivers (163.69 and onwards) has fixed them.
-
Got 'em installed - work just fine. No noticeable improvement in TF2, but no problems either.
Edit:
-
Joga, which ones did u install?! i got .75's from laptopvideo2go, but guru3d already has .76's for xp?!
-
I installed the .75's for 32-bit Vista from LV2G.
-
lol I completely forgot about powerrangers...they had so many of em back then. I guess he looks like a timeforce powerranger with one huge ass eye
