I'm having a performance issue with both Ford Racing 2 and 3. I know I can't have both installed at the same time, so I uninstalled one before installing the other. I have the latest drivers installed. The menu with the video in the background on Ford Racing 2 is slow, and the game runs terrible. The sound is really high pitched too. These problems are during the race only on Racing 3, and on a couple menus in 2. It gets about a frame a second. But the second I go back to the main menu it's fine. I can use the identical settings on my 3 year old desktop and it runs it fine. On a related topic, the Dell drivers mess with my resolution. I'm using the nVidia ones right now because whenever I boot my computer, the resolution defaults to 640X800 with the dell drivers, which is annoying, because my icons are arranged in a specific way. Is there a way to fix this too?

I had this problem too, but I thought it was due to the Quadro card. I've stated this several times, but now that you're having the problem too, I guess that's not it. My second guess when I first started reading your post was that it was a problem with Dell drivers, but you're not using those, so I guess that's not it. Maybe it's a bug with the game? Or maybe the incompatibility is somewhere else, for instance the Core Duo or something?

Yeah, the Dell drivers are messed up , so I'm using the nVidia ones. With the Dell drivers, I get defaulted to 640X800 instead of the 1920X1200 like it's supposed to be. Even if I change it, it goes back. Yeah, good idea with the core duo thing. That may be it because my desktop is single core. I think I'll try it on a friend's desktop, he has an Athlon X2. Contacted tech support, have not heard back in 2 days.
