Really looking forward to this! I was watching the live stream earlier. Looks amazing.

 

On my wish list on Steam. While I don't love Steam it's far better than the Windows store where I have 3 and 4.

Looks okay, though sadly no motorcycles, so FH4 will be enough for me for now.

 

It does look pretty cool, kinda wished s. france or italy or greece location though. I think they should also have an nfs police chase mode too but maybe that's stretching the intended genre they want too much.

 

Maybe the upcoming Test Drive will have that.

I was going to buy a gaming laptop for this and infinite but after seeing the price of the xbox series s at 379.99 cad.....I picked it up along with game pass and now I have about 300 good games in my xbox library.......I know it's going to be 1080p but I sit 8 feet away from my TV on the couch and eyes are unable to tell or spot the difference 4k...two new games I was dying to see was hellblade and dirt 5....dirt 5 has like 1 billion polygons per frame lol...but very hard to get in first place even on easy..very fun...typically i game for 5 hours per month on my PC but well 2 days ago I played for 10 hours on my new xbox...this says alot...perhaps the ultimate enjoyment comes from sitting on a couch gaming away on a nice 4k tv...I'm a die hard gamer when it comes to PC well i used to be....and to be quite honest i love fixing and tweaking games and using mods...but as it stands as per my opinion consoles this time around well for the next two years it is superior over PC gaming...if your die hard you will own both so in the end I guess an opinion like that is irrelevent as I have both a gaming laptop a VR headset and two tvs one as a monitor and one for xbox

 

ok this is clearly the first next gen game that pushes limits

 

guys horizon is one of the best racing games ever....it really is.....why no hype

 

Is this game even released yet? Idk I may have mentioned this before but FH4 is fine for a while for me, I don't know that I even have the hardware to really make FH5 beyond med settings.

 

forza horizon 5 looks quite a bit better than 4 a generational leap...i'm sure once the reviews come out you will be interested because they changed quite a bit and it looks to a gain..I say wait and get it with gamepass...free is pretty cheap

Ditto, will stick around with FH4. If FH5 introduced bikes I would grab it straight away, but as it stands now I don’t have any need to play this over FH4.

 

FH4 is probably good enough...I have 15 hours logged in....but H5 is next gen and I think the jump in graphics warrants interest...some of us are older and remember tie fighter and rogue squadron and sprite based games and therefore graphics are not king....but some like it when its pushed and we see new things....i really hope the game pushes the pc and series x graphically...but im afraid we wont see truely next gen games for another 2 years

 

Over the past five years graphics have so improved that it is the thing that impresses me the least, unless under very specific circumstances, namely flight simulators (especially when you move from FSX graphics engine with some lipstick in P3D to something like MSFS2020).

As a matter of fact, I don’t think graphics were ever a factor when I was choosing a game.

 

i know it will play less and less of a role but this is like msfs2020 in terms of overall look....after that its content that matters....heck i still play crysis 1 to this day and thats from 2007

 

i play at 420x320 all low because graphics dont matter...lol

 

they are now saying this is going to be the best racing game ever made...wow..but in case you missed it its out in 3 weeks

 

Anyone playing this? How's it compare to 4? bugs? Lots of drive space needed.

 

I haven't noticed any bugs or had any issues in the small amount of hours I've played. So far I'm liking it. It looks great and plays great, very familiar as the previous versions. I will not go back to 4 after this. Steam is not my preference but way better than the Windows Store and at least I have friends on Steam.

I left 4 installed as I heard we get to carry over some things or get bonuses, but eventually I will remove 4 and recover that space at least.

 

I rarely play racing games but I've watched 5 some on Twitch and it looks great. Its going to be on Game Pass Tuesday and I'll be playing then.

 

101gb install on Game Pass.
