    Hello everyone..

I'm experiencing frame rate variations in Crysis, particularly in single player mode.

I'll be cruising along at about 25-35 FPS and then just slack off to 7-10FPS for about 10 to 15 seconds.

    Anyone have any ideas?

My specs should be in sig.

    Thanks

    are you monitoring the temps??

if the temp spikes and the framerate drops, then you have to clean out the fans and vents.... (you should have been cleaning out at least bi-monthly anyways.)

Bi-monthly? Where do you live :D?

Heh, but it's a good tip to clean out the vents, otherwise dust and particle build-ups will reduce circulation, thus building up heat and will sometimes trigger GPU throttling.

Just buy some compressed Air canisters and carefully blow out dust, dirt, or gunk that you see near the vents.

I have the exact same problem. the frame rate fluctuates. Is it due to loading of the massive world?

Do you have the most recent "beta" drivers?

I know for my 8800GTX Gear of Wars had issues like that until I installed 169.04.
