Since I'm spending most of my money on accessories for my laptop and other investments, I'm trying to find Free but awesome PC games. I'm open to anything.

cross fire from Suba games. decent counter strike clone with points and ranking.
has a few people using hacks but so does combat arms. I like it cause its free and isn't really a very graphically demanding game.

never tried Americas army, dont know if my lappy would run it (integrated graphics).

There's travian. The interface is ultra-simple, but the level of strategy required is crazy. WARNING: be prepared to feel the urge to check your account in the middle of the night because this game runs 24/7!

 

I played combat arms for a couple months and made it to a luitenient before the lag from crappy itegrated graphics card and all the hackers finally got to me. My kdr went from a 2.8 to a flat 2 at the end

I wanna say 5 main servers, then inside of those are about 20 individual game servers, but I'm not too sure.

Combat Arms is divided into 3 types of servers:

Rank(Depends on your game experience) 6 Subservers: Recruit, Grunt, Sergeant, Officer, and Elite.

Regular(Any player): Alpha(6 Servers), Beta(6 Servers), Blackmarket(only for players who pay real $$$ for Nexon points)

Clan(only for people in clans): Not sure how many servers.

Give Mount and Blade a go, its a free download (880megs). Basically a Medieval combat simulator, bloody awesome fun, and very addictive! Im not the biggest fan of old school RPG stuff, but this one is great.

You basically download the full game and can play it up to Level 7. Then to go any further you have to buy a key, which is about $30US off the top of my head. Its worth it just to play the trial, I can't get enough of the quick battles!

One of my favorite free games is Gunbound. It's sort of a turn based strategy shooter. You play online with a certain vehicle and adjust your angle and shot power to try to destroy your opponents. Once you get get beyond all of the people constantly calling you a newbie it can be quite fun. There is some paid element; you can buy coins to purchase items to upgrade your avatar. Otherwise, you can just buy most of the stuff using the gold you accrue through playing the game.

Gunbound is cool. I was into it but got kinda bored after a year or 2. I am now searching for nice MMORPG games. *free ofcourse*
I used to play Shaiya, 12sky, 9dragons, and 2moons (dekaron) any suggestions of games like these? I saw the upcoming Aion with realli cool graphics but the bad thing is that its a P2P game.. sigh..

 

HAve any of you ever tried cross fire? its really cool and i play it my gamertag is numbnutz46 i usually play on alpha server channel 4.

 

crossfire is fun very but hackers ruin the game

 

The same could be said about combat arms! lol. Of course the whole NX weapons thing is pretty lame, but they have to make money I guess.
