So me and my friends play Starcraft BW over LAN. It plays fine with my friends comp up until there is more than 5 players including computers. What happens is his comp just shuts down.
Here are his specs: T2250 @ 1.73ghz, 2gb RAM, Nvidia Geforce Go 7600. Its an HP Pavilion dv8000
Oh and its also XP x86 SP2

Anyone could help possibly?
-
Does it happen in single player or only over the LAN?
-
Probably a software issue, SC is over ten years old, you'd have more luck on an SC channel.
-
It only happens LAN nad only when more than 4 players are on whether they be computers or people.
-
I really doubt it is your hardware, heck my 9 year old P3 laptop can play it fine. I really dont know what can be the cause, could be connections since it only happens with 4+ people over LAN

So...
Is 'daram' dyslexic-speak for 'drama'? -
No amard would be dyslexic for drama....its a typo not backwards =)

I find it odd that it just shuts down instead of freezing or turning off his internet connection. Normally I'd assume that it is the router that is overloading, but it could also be his network adapter (the ethernet or wifi module in his system) is overloading with work.
It could also be that his system is overheating, though the fact that there is a shutdown at exactly 5 players makes that seem unlikely. *shrug* Make sure you have all your windows updates. (SP3 is out by now) -
it could be overheating. it could also be that you haven't updated starcraft to the latest version. check battle.net for updates

Check your facts on Dyslexia.
And I guess the humour was lost on you.
Friends Starcraft Daram!
