    From Laptop To Desktop...

    So i have got my Desktop and its time for me to start installing my games.
    with them being installed on my laptop, if i uninstall them and install them on desktop will that work? and wont run into any troubles or anything will i?

    What do you mean? Usually every game has legally more than 1 installation, so no need to uninstall them from your laptop.

    i have the discs and serial (all legit) but i thought if i were to use the serial to install it on another computer then i would need to uninstall it on my laptop

    Not necessarily, most games allow for more than 1 install legally.

    i haven't installed a single game on my laptop, i copied them all from my desktop, but mind you it requires exporting a load of registry entries, so it might not be an approach for u to follow. i have the reg entries always ready so i don’t have to reinstall all my games after OS reinstall. (that’s why it was easy to just copy 'em when i got the lappie)

    yeah i dont think i am willing to go through all that hassle getting the reg entries for them

    yeah, not probably worth it looking at it from ur perspective.. :]
    especially if u don't reinstall ur OS often. now with win 7 that won't be needed as often anyway.
