I called Sony Support yesterday telling them about the blue vertical lines and distorted images problem i was having. I had also told them that when i played a game, it would change color, freeze and crash.

The servicer told me to boot up into BIOS and to reset factory settings and guess what, the problem magically disappeared. But something tells me that there is still something wrong with my card.

The pic below shows me playing CSS. The "artifacts" are circled however i believe they are mild. The artifacts were moving across at a pretty high speed so i only caught a few. They did disappear over time but would come back every 30 minutes or so.

My GPU did stuff like that on F.E.A.R. for a few days, then it pooped out entirely. I'd say your GPU needs to be replaced or repaired.
