So my laptop (specs below) runs every game out there at above average setting on the stock drivers (drivers that came with the laptop)
Games i play daily
-Crysis
-COD 4
-All FEAR series
-Rainbow 6 vegas
-HL2
and more...
I bought and installed this game (Frontlines) and also after rading a bit extracted the openal32.dll and wrap_oal.dll from the binaries to separate folder as well as downloaded/installed and ran theis patch here

Still get the blue screen of death when it attempts to start up..
I believe its a driver issue...when i send a report it says its a driver issue..
any one agree?

Your link doesn't work, I had lots of problems also but it runs fine now, your best bet is to post your specs on the Kaos forum for some guidance. First go into device manager and disable your sound, mine was IDT high def audio, and then run the game and see if it starts.

Alright i think my issue may be a driver problem..
What is the latest and best(problem free) video driver for an ATI mobility Radeon X1600? Where to download?
Also i myswell update mt audio driver as well. I have Realtek. Not sure how to install both drivers.
Any help? Thanks i appreciate it -
No love?
