    FSX is processor heavy. But Sandy Bridge CPU's are pretty decent even the ULV's. I'd fathom to say with lower settings maybe 30fps at 720p.

    It depends how are you going to run your M$FSX, meaning with or without any additional add-ons like REX, FEX, GEX on so forth.

    You gonna be good then :) Even I get some good FPS running pretty much everithing on high + AA & AF, not to mention having REX and FEX textures.

    24 fps or more with good detail. Check the flight sim thread for my settings for use with M11xR1.
    You will not be able to run PDMG aircraft, just the ones that came with FSX.

    Remember to install SP1 & SP2 updates for Flight Sim X. :D
    Total vanilla is a pain to play, something my friend got to see when he loaded up his copy on my notebook.
