The other night a couple of friends came over and we system linked two xbox's and beat Halo ODST again from start to finish. It was a short game, but really fun and chaotic to play with 4 people. My roommate and I were wondering if there were any other games that are fun to play coop or semi-competitive with a small group of people in a LAN either for the xbox 360 or for PC.

For PC, we'd need something that could run on a Geforce 9400 or lower. We don't mind playing older games. Gameplay > graphics for us.

    For xbox we've beaten
    Left 4 Dead 1 & 2
    Borderlands
    Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 & 2
    Halo Series
Call of Duty World at War
    Army of Two
    Gears of War 1 & 2

    Thanks

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men is absolutely hilarious with split screen co-op. You can play split screen on PC as well, but one person will be forced to use a wired 360 controller. What a bummer.

I see you played Army of Two. xD
You should try out Army of Two: The 40th Day.
Singleplayer is kinda boring played alone since the AI on your teammate is a little crappy, but coop with a friend is awesome.

Dont remember if you need to play it over Xbox Live for it to work, but i has splitscreen.
Cant even join Xbox Live myself, as i would be banned on the spot thanks to my homebrew enabled Xbox 360.

There's a coop Half-Life mod and a Doom 3 mod that my friend and I played around with. You guys seem to prefer FPS's, but if you want to delve into other genres, I'd recommend Diabolo II and Neverwinter Nights I & II.

"Dota style" games are great fun with some friends. Tons of teamwork and strategy involved. Problem is that if you've never really played these kinds of games before, you can really get your butt handed to you by other players.
Try League of Legends, it's free and really fun, and you can play against bots until you get better.

Thanks for the great recommendations guys.
I have GRAW 1 & 2 lying around somewhere as well as shadowgrounds.
I've played Sven Mod for Half life, that's a blast. Diablo 2 is great and we've played through it tons. I should pick up Neverwinter Nights, it's probably really cheap now.

I forgot, if you haven't played HAWX, it's pretty fun to play though the campaign.

Any way to play co-op without a controller? I could only find 2-4P, 1 machine (no lan)
