What is the difference between running the Benchmark and the Stability tests ??? We were trying this on a friends laptop and it ran the Benchmark test for 2 hours straight with a GPU temperature hitting a high of 88 degrees Celsius which took about 15-20 minutes to get to, but when we run the Stability test it runs about 5 minutes and hits a GPU temperature of 95 degrees Celsius very quickly and then shuts off. Sometimes it even shuts off before it hits 88 degrees Celsius in the Stability tests. I thought that these GPU's can go over 100+ degrees Celsius. I doubt it is heat. I think it may be a powersupply issue or driver issue, but I could be wrong. We have tried 2 different drivers for his Vista 64 and same results. Just wanted to see what you all think. Games run fine, etc. Thanks for any insight to this. God Bless![]()

Well I think I found the problem of why it was shutting down during the Furmark Stability test and I was correct in that the power supply I was using could not keep up with the stress of the laptop. I was using a Kensington 120watt slim laptop power supply and it would get hot and I am guessing shut down. I did the same test with the stock 120watt power supply that came with my Toshiba Qosmio F55 and I ran the Furmark Stability test for 2 hours straight with the GPU temperature hitting a constant high of 95 degrees Celsius, and the laptop never shut down. This laptop and GPU rock !!!!! Oh yeah did I also mention that I also installed an Intel Extreme X9100 CPU !!!
God Bless !!!!!!!
