Future fakefactory hl2 mod.

Hopefully people know that Fakefactory's cinematic mod 4.0 is out for HL2 and Episode 1.

It's a 3.21 gig download...

But what you don't know is he's working on another high res texture/model pack...

Including... (working for 4.0)

Anyways...

This pack will be for powerful pcs, so don't come unless you have a 512 meg card.

its also nice to see that he's managed to get rid of the somewhat oily/glossy skin texture on alyx

 

holy bejezus, those are some sharp textures...

 

That comparison shot between Alyx in HL2 and Alyx in the new engine is pretty much, "Pictures are worth a thousand words." What an improvement.

 

It's still the EYES that throw you off...
Yes, the skin textures are awesome... but put some damn blood vessels in the eyes so they don't look like dolls!!!
Facial mechanics and graphics have come leaps and bounds but until designers remember that the EYES are the window to the soul, game characters and cartoon characters will always feel fake.

And who decided to make her a frickin supermodel skeleton? A woman who is as "in shape" as Alyx would need to be wouldn't look like a super model with her ribs and hip bones sticking out.
If I had friends that looked like this;
I'd send them to therapy for eating disorders.

 

Do you think that there MIGHT be a way for those to run on my X1400. I would really like the textures in HL2 be be better, because they were really not that good. Well, they were good, but they could have been a lot better, and this mod proves it.

 

If you want it to run, use fakefactory 3.0...

Just search on that site for fakefactory alyx models, and you'll find 6 new fakefactory alyx models. Only work on version 3.0

These are replacement models for Alyx... If someone wishes to watch Alyx in he buff, well, whatever.

You can make her look futuristic, like the matrix, in a bathrobe, etc...

If this is wrong then just delete the link. But search for Alyx. And no video game pron please?

I said "In shape." Looking like a skeleton is not in shape, not healthy, and not particularly hot.
If you think that being in shape means you can't be hot, you haven't seen very many healthy, in shape women.

 

I didn't think she looked skinny...Looked like she a nice round ass tbh.
