Wow. Just wow. I am so excited about this, as long as they don't turn it into a big fat steaming terd. Deus Ex is too awesome they better not screw it up.
It's too bad these days when you have to get more anxious about whether they'll screw it up than how good it's going to be.![]()

I probably should play the first one huh? I don't know why I never finished it. I suppose it wouldn't surprise you that I played Max Payne for the first time last year?

I started the first one and then gave up because the graphics sucked too much.
-
And I reckon the graphics would have been good back in the day... -

The graphics were probably good back then, but I tried playing last year and it just isn't fun. The movements are off also.
The "acting" wasn't great either. -
-
Hopefully the new one will have gameplay close to the first without too much pandering to the console crowd.

loved the dues ex games..
looking forward to this.. -
I'd love to get excited about this because the first one was so good, but Deus Ex 2 was pretty terrible so I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Looks a lot like Mass Effect 2...
-
Anyways, as long as it doesn't play like a "Ported from Console" game, I'll be looking forward to this one ! -
it's still the best game in the fps hybrid genre.
talking abou the first one of course.
-
this game is supposed to be a prequel. see all the mechanical parts on him, he's an outdated cyborg like navara and gunther.
i hope it won't be another shooter with regenerating health and cover system. but i won't be surprised if it turns out that way. -
looks like duke nukem

Not one person, who worked on the original is involved with part three. I am not excited.
-
Have there been any significant mods to the original? It would be nice if someone gave it a facelift.

I never finished the first, but I thought it was great. Invisible War was fantastic.

I finished the first game with cheat codes enabled (I was pretty young at the time it came out). I also watched my dad play through it for real and I thought it was amazing. I got the 2nd one as a birthday present when it came out but didn't finish it until I tried it out again last February. I thought it was good, just not as good as the original. Also when it first came out the game was a bit buggy/glitchy, but apparently that had all been fixed by the time I played it last year.

Played the first one like a addicted maniac.
Second one was strange.
Now I really hope this one will have all the features of the original Deus Ex - if so, were looking at a flagship game product of 2011 (?) -
The original is a great game for a netbook if you haven't played it.
-
I have stopped getting excited about most PC game releases nowadays. I have learned my lesson and expect a consolised poor excuse for a game that capatilises on the previous fan base to make a quick sale like OFP Dragon Sinking did.
-
Loved the first DE. Couldn't be bothered to finish the second, it was boring. I'll reserve judgement for the third until it's actually released.

+1 -
I made the mistake of buying BC2 while the hype was still on and I paid for it. Where is my $50 back?
On the other hand Batman Arkham is awesome! Get it over 50% off and was very confident I would enjoy it.
- I like this game of patience, assessing the scene first then take action. Even during my first boss fight with Bane, can't rush anything, gotta be patient and wait for the right moment. Fun fun. -
All of you who say you never played or finished the first one make me very sad. That was basically my whole 10th grade. Its truly one of the greatest games ever. Who cares about graphics? I played the whole thing again through last year and it hasn't lost a thing over the last decade.
