I tried... I have a bank of america visa debit, paypal credit, and a different bank america credit.... got the same error code, card not autorized for payment please contact card issuer..... and I use all 3 cards for buying stuff online and at the store all the time

 

Hmm, I used my PayPal credit/debit card too and it worked no problem. Contact Microsoft and let them know. They will probably take care of you.

 

for 6 hours i was unable to use my visa at all yesterday right after i tried to use if to buy a second copie of age of empire3

I guess only way would be if you bought under a second account, because it's tied to your account and only allowed one game. Too bad you couldn't gift it to anyone though.

Yeah, in games for windows window at top there's a "settings" text hotlink. You can set where your "Games" folder is.

 

Can I just ask - are you using your XPS 15 for AOE3?

I have the exact same model except 4GB RAM instead of 6GB but am having issues when scrolling around the map - everything starts to stutter / become choppy.

Really didn't expect this but put it down to the game probably not being designed for multicores.

But now I've just read your post saying that it works fine - would appreciate clarification!

I still haven't received my key yet. I haven't downloaded the game yet either, do you need to download it first?

 

If you have the games for windows client install and finish downloading the cd key should be there. When you install the game it will ask you for it and from there go to the download tab and click on AOE download. There should be a little arrow pointing down that shows the cd key.

 

I used to play this game ALOT with my brother.

My favourite team was the Dutch due to their strong economy, however, their troops were average, so I protected the castles while my brother used his superior troops to attack.
