    will the ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 256MB HyperMemory graphics (integrated) play Civilization IV?

    yeah, though that game doesnt really need a fast graphics card just a lot of memory and trust me with 512mb o ram the game will get really slow the further ur civilisation progresess. get more ram now!

    It should do - my IGP 320M runs it but for the lack of pixel shaders, forcing me to reveal the map else all the terrain is in complete dark. From what I can tell your card has that capability, so it should manage to play without problem, at least unless/until the later ages and you play on big maps with lots of opposition. Graphics aren't cIV's big drain - that's more the memory and the processor. Even the best computers get a little slow in the later ages where there's a lot going on, so don't let that bother you at all.

    sorry ya'll i forgot to add i won't be playin it on the desktop. My hubby has a laptop and wants to play that game. I went to system requirements lab and check to make sure it would play. It said it would. he's got a nvidia geforce 6100, 1024mb of ram..so they said it would play. thanks
