I have a dell inspiron 1525 6 month old laptop

    Config:
    C2D 1.83 Ghz
    1 GB DDR2
Installed OS - Win XP PRO with latest working drivers

My problem is: Everytime I play Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, My system shuts down all of a sudden. Sometimes it shuts down immediately after i launch the mission and sometimes even after 2 hours. But it keeps happening. My system actually shuts down without any fuzz, warning messages, beeps, hangs etc.. Even without the "windows is shutting down" screen. Recently I installed Farcry and the same thing happens except with farcry it happens even sooner. Even video conversion process causes this to happen.

Is there any problem with my system. Or is it any incompatibility that i have to check out. The driver version that i use is 14.34. There have been newer drivers out, but this gives me the best graphics performance..
I need some info on this issue. Pls help

I am wondering about, at what resolution and ingame setting you are trying to play, those games on X3100 chip.

    POP-T2T

Safe Settings mode, 800x600x32 is the resolution
Other details correspond to safe setting mode..

Farcry: I haven't changed any settings yet..

I would also like to mention CS:S here.. The system does not shut down while playing this game. But the objects on a far distances are all just grey. And by far distances, i mean the distance that the lowest rated pistol would fire accurately, to give u an example. This makes it really difficult to play CS:S since many shots are long range shots.
