    GMA X3100 with 512Mb of ram

    I have this HP Compa 6720 (C2D T5470, 1.6ghz running Windows XP). It has X3100 along with 512mb of ram.

    The problem is that it crashes mid way during the game while playing Comand and Conquer Generals (on lan/wifi) and gives the error that

    "windows has encountered a serious error which may be due to overheated hardware virus blah blah blah ........................."

    So what may be the cause of this crash? The laptop is brand new, new windows install. I am guessing its the 512mb ram.

    What do you guys think?

    That's nothing with the RAM, maybe you can update gpu driver to the latest one.
