A few months ago I bought a compaq V6580ED notebook.
Windows vista was pre-installed on it. Didn't like it so I threw it off(with lots of trouble). But when I had Windows XP installed, and I wanted to play my favourite game(day of defeat), it only gave me about 30 fps. While a lot of benchmarks says my x3100 should do way better. So i re-installed Windows Vista but nothing changed. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Driver Version: 7.14.10.1409

But the weird thing is. If i run everst, and look at my PCI/AGP video settings it says i have a x3000.

    GPUz tells me

Name - Intel mobile 965 express family chipset
    GPU - GM965
    BIOS vers. - 1428 PC 14.21
    Direct x support - 9.0c
    Driver version - igdumd32 7.14.10.1409

And i can chose 2 Intel mobile 965 express family chipsets in the bottom of the screen. But in 1 all the details are missing.

Couldn't upload picture flickr down or something. I Hope this is te info you needed

Well it should manage to get 70 fps at 800x600 or not?
