GOG Galaxy 2.0 looks like it's going to try to provide a single place to integrate all of our games from all PC, Console, and Streaming. This is the kind of innovation needed from a new PC Games Store / platform, and I hope it works as advertised for accessing games, tracking achievements, and friend cross platform play.

Looks interesting. Funny how so many people are up in arms about Epic games data collecting yet they’re all properly using Windows 10.

IMNSHO, EGS is a mess that's both short and long to explain fully.

Summed up EGS is a total disappointment.

EGS / Tencent have hurt the feelings and dashed the expectations of tens of thousands of people, and even if you aren't directly connected to each game exclusive debacle, it's clear to see the tragedy in each betrayal of the fans EGS / Tencent have caused.

EGS / Tencent are heartless and soulless in their actions inducing weak-minded souls with diminutive moral sense to sell out their responsibility as custodians of developers creations.

EGS's actions vs. EGS's stated goals, the sad and vacant EGS implementation, and finally the side effect of disrespect to gamers, investors, fans of creative IP, are all cast aside as unimportant, their self-respect and cash value traded for exclusivity by the Epic Games Store / Tencent.

In effect EGS / Tencent's stacks of cash have generated mountains of bad intent and ill will, and cast a shadow over what should have been a joy in buying and discovering a long awaited game, for many games.

Lightheartedly, for those of us that refuse to be a part of it all, we jokingly say we're excited for the release of the game(s) in 2020 on Steam or GOG, or where ever the game was originally intended to release before being bought up by EGS / Tencent.

In our hearts we have lost the expectant joy of games we were looking forward to playing this year.

When someone does something wrong to you, you don't simply accept it and you don't reward it, instead you work through it productively.

Here's the long explanation, and the EGS / Tencent damage doesn't seem to be ending any time soon...

This is how you make a proper competitor to steam.

I wonder if they are gonna add a feature where you can look up a game and use the integrations to see where you can buy it the cheapest.

It's too bad they won't support Linux. I've been slowly making my way over to that OS. Lol
