This is my laptop temperature after 30 min. of playing MOHA 2010 and it continues like this as I continue playing the game. Did anyone noticed that too ?? I always play on my desk and my room temperature is about -27c. Someone told me if your GPU temp. reaches 90c it's ok but it is not good for a CPU's temp. to reach 90c, is this true ???

It's quite okay for CPU to reach 90 if it's an Extreme version of the CPU but seeming that you have a P8800... That's quite high o_o Close to the CPU threshold temps... Have you cleaned out your vents? Do you use a cooler? Maybe you'll also have to replace the CPU thermal paste ._.

Does this only happen on MoH? My CPU peaks at 75 when playing MoH o_O

I don't use a cooler and I didn't cleaned out my vents since a I got my laptop (I dunno how tho). I get a bit lower Temp. with COD MW2 but it runs smoother than MOHA 2010 (about 10 FPS more)

    1. Clean your vents.
    2. Get a cooler.
    3. Undervolt your CPU using the Undervolting guide which is very simple.

You shouldn't get that high temps but MOH always caused my computer to overheat so its nothing new... airborne was horrendus.. especially due to this but graphics was excellent.

Today I tried to clean my vents with an air blower and a vacuum cleaner but I couldn't remove any screws because I had to disassemble the entire laptop just to get to the vents and fan fully and it would void my warranty :/ I couldn't find any guide with video or pictures for the dv6. Where I live now there is no such thing as a laptop cooler :D
