    GPU Change possible?

    Hey! I have Asus F3Sr with dedicated ATI HD2400 mobility. Asus has released F3Sv, everything is the same except graphics, it has gf 8600m GS. Is it possible to change graphics? I know that it's not possible to change from other notebooks, but these have same motherboards. Thanks for answers

    You'd need to swap out the entire motherboard, as the cards are one with the board.

    Yeah it would be a daunting task and probably not worth it. Even tho you say they are the same mobo there could be some small differences to make them not interchangeable aswell.

    The jump from a 2400 to an 8600GS wouldn't be worth it, anyway.

    If not convinced, just open it up and see if it has an MXM-slot or not.. :p
